A function-specific, “how to” training for shippers of Class 7 radioactive material by domestic highway and air (domestic and International).

This course is targeted towards employees who are involved in the process of shipping Class 7 Radioactive Material. It includes:

•The applicability of 49CFR, IATA DGR and Class 7 definitions

• Identification of radionuclides in the 49CFR and IATA Tables

• Proper identification of Excepted/Limited Quantity, Type A, and Type B packagings

• 49-CFR citations governing Class 7 package construction and testing

• Correct marking and labeling of Class 7 packages

• Correct shipping paper/documentation practices for highway and air consignments

Note: This course is a function-specific training that helps companies meet both initial and recurrent training requirements for shipping Class 7 Radioactive Material.
