IMO/IMDG Hazardous Material Training (Vessel)

Use of the 35th Amendment IMDG Code is authorized for use as of January 1, 2011.  IMDG training is mandatory if the required function specific training differs from 49CFR, 172.704(2)(ii).  Many companies elect to follow the guidelines as established by the Department of Transportation: initial training to be received within 90 days of employment/change of job function and recurrent training every 3 years.

Navigating the IMDG Code, definitions, training, units of measure, identification, marine pollutants, hazardous waste, marking, labeling, placarding, limited quantities, mixtures and solutions, documentation, packaging requirements, packaging dangerous goods together, stowage and segregation.
